Recovery Begins With Us

ABOUT US

Welcome to Blue&Lavender!

We are a community of women committed to healing. We understand the challenging traumatic effects of verbal, physical, economic, social, and sexual violence. We also, however, believe in the ability to break these cycles of violence, to rebuild communities of courage, and to restore healing and alignment to individuals, families, and organizations. Our model is simple: create a safe space for all women to tell their stories of trauma and recovery, make recovery resources more available and accessible, and organize online and in-person events to build a community of women in recovery. From the founder of this women-led organization to its newest member, we are committed to a lifestyle devoted to our own recovery, as well as the recovery of others. We want ourselves, our families, and our communities to be safe and strong. To all women, regardless of your race, color, national or ethnic origin, ancestry, age, religion or religious creed, disability or handicap, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, we invite you to join us to build a better world one woman at a time!
