Both reading the recovery narratives of others or the process of writing our own can be extremely healing. From discovering common experiences, to finding hope in someone else's healing process, reading another's story can normalize and provide motivation for one in recovery. Additionally, writing one's own recovery narrative can assist in better understanding your experience through a lens of compassion. Blue&Lavender includes a blog where founder, Anne Lauren, and other trauma survivors, share their own experiences of recovery. You can also choose to contribute your own recovery narrative.
